It was a day before Max’ and my birthdays – yes are birthdays our just one day (and 2 years) apart and after a bit of a cycling break we wanted to check out the bikes and get them ready for a ride on the following day. We took off work especially for the trip and other birthday celebrations. Excitedly we walked downstairs into our underground car park and the supposedly secure bike storage. Immediately we saw something was wrong. Both our bikes were gone!
Suffice it to say we were incredibly frustrated, upset and frankly angry. The thieves had actually sawed into the bike stand – since obviously we had good locks which they could not break immediately – and just removed the bikes that way. Can you believe that?
However, there is no benefit in dwelling on these things and we quickly decided to buy new bikes and move on. The more we thought about this the more excited we got. It we pretty clear from the start we would get a Rose bike. So we both ordered the Pro SL Disc Road bike (obviously in red).
Now that they both have arrived and we have ridden a couple of times already I thought I would write a little review. (Unfortunately) I don’t get paid by Rose to say this so my review of them is 100% my opinion.
